Methodology

A decision-support tool, with the assumptions visible.

aipay.tax is an estimation and decision-support tool for SaaS and digital businesses. Rules calculate. Code decides. The database stores facts. Sources prove facts.

01

Provider fee calculation

A plan is represented as a versioned database record. The engine applies percentage fees to submitted monthly revenue, fixed fees to submitted transaction count, and separately models international-card, conversion, billing, tax-service and MoR components where the record contains them. Amounts are converted through the selected reference-rate snapshot.

02

Tax exposure

The engine matches a published, verified tax rule by jurisdiction, customer type and digital-service category. It reports directional exposure and threshold status. It deliberately does not produce a filed or assessed liability, invent a threshold, or submit a registration or return.

03

B2B / B2C treatment

B2C share and customer location drive destination-market exposure signals. Where the published rule permits it, a valid tax ID can make reverse charge possible for qualifying B2B transactions. Evidence and local exceptions remain a human review item.

04

Recommendation score

The score is a deterministic weighted model using B2C ratio, market breadth, EU/UK/Canada/Australia-New Zealand/Asia exposure, revenue, order value, transaction volume, tax infrastructure, internal support and registration preference. Weights are stored as configuration rows and do not change for affiliate commission.

05

Data policy

Rules and provider facts are only eligible for production calculation when they have a source, verification status and effective-date window. Coverage placeholders remain unverified and render Review Required. Every version stays queryable rather than being overwritten.
